We're all friends here: so let's not be shy! While not the sexiest of topics, but it sure helps you feel better when the plumbing is cleaned out. Our poop is not talked about in many social circles. But with your friend fiber to help, (and us, your friends to talk about it with!) you won't be feeling shy, full or constipated any longer.Read More
One reason we are so lost in nutrition is because we are constantly looking to external forces to tell us how to eat. We follow diet trends, we buy the latest products, we read the newest books and change our diets based on everyone else's opinion or 'facts.' What this does is lead us to believe that we do not inherently know what our body likes to eat, what it leads us to believe is that we don't trust ourselves to know. Here I am sharing why I don't care if my clients' eat ice cream or other junk food.....Read More

Winter is a powerful time - a time to conserve our energy and resources. Special care needs to be taken in the form of nutrition, warmth and rest. Winter is a more inward and sensitive time. The climates of cold and wet (rain, snow, fog) chill us and require us to seek extra warmth and home time. It is even a time when some of us feel sad (heard of the blues?) which can be connected to loss of loved ones around Christmas time, less healthy food, or less sunshine. It can definitely be a hard season and I know I struggle with it, being an Osoyoos native (Canada's pocket desert, yes it exists) my heart pounds for the heat-drenched sand of July, the warm waters of August, a cold beer by the pool-side...... well, now, where were we?
Oh right - the winter blah's.Read More
